Our Story

Prep, Made Modern

Hand-painted needlepoint, designed in-house for the modern stitcher.

Taylor & Kobi began with a single canvas, a lot of stubbornness, and the belief that needlepoint deserved better design.

Every collection starts the same way: an idea that doesn't exist anywhere else on the needlepoint market yet — a city skyline, a collegiate crest, a holiday scene that actually looks like it belongs on your coffee table, not tucked in a craft bin. From there, each design is hand-painted onto mono canvas by artists who care as much about the details — the exact shade of gold thread, the way a line curves — as the stitcher who'll eventually pick it up.

We're not interested in "easy" or "anyone can do this." Needlepoint is a craft, and Taylor & Kobi canvases are made for people who want to make something worth keeping — a piece that gets framed, gifted, monogrammed onto a pillow, or styled on your favorite chair. Thoughtfully designed, from the first stitch.

What We Believe

Hand-Painted, Individually

No screen printing, no shortcuts. Every canvas is painted by hand, which means every one is just slightly, wonderfully one-of-one.

Designed to Be Displayed

We design for the after — framed on a wall, finished into a pillow, propped on a shelf. Not just stitched and stored away.

Curated, Never Basic

Every collection is edited tightly. If it's in the shop, it's because we'd stitch it ourselves.

Built to Last

Quality mesh, quality paint, quality intentions — pieces made to be loved, not tossed in a drawer.

Where the Name Comes From

Kobi is the little shadow behind every canvas we design — our resident office dog, unofficial quality inspector, and the reason there's a dog icon stitched into our logo ribbon. Taylor is behind the paintbrush (and the spreadsheets). Together: Taylor & Kobi.
